Tuesday, October 1, 10am: Overview and Scrutiny Management Group. Councillors will conduct a review of the council’s spending and budget planning proposals.
Also to allocate members to the Resources Scrutiny Panel and to examine the council’s actions on the Service Delivery Plan.
Tuesday, October 1, 2pm: Well-being and Communities Scrutiny Panel. The panel will look at a Care Quality Commission report on problems at Claremont House, Huddersfield, and decide on what action to take over the care facility.
There will also be a briefing on plans for a national immunisation programme and on the plans for a TB campaign.

Tuesday, October 1: Planning committee at 2.30pm and 6pm: Issues up for debate include plans for a new camping site in Elland and the use of a children’s playgym in Brighouse.
Tuesday, October 1, 6.30pm Ward Forum at St Columba’s Church Hall in Well Lane, Halifax.
Thursday, October 3, Northowram and Shelf Ward Forum at Northowram Methodist Church.
