A SERIES of public meetings get under way this week – to help plan Kirklees Council spending in the future.
The council is faced with more sweeping budget cuts and wants the public to tell them where money can be saved and where services should be protected.
Hundreds of council staff have already lost their jobs but officials are warning more cuts are needed.
