COUNCIL workers were undaunted by parked cars when painting a yellow line in a Colne Valley village.
They just left a gap in the line on Lewisham Road, Slaithwaite, and painted in between.
An Examiner reader commented: “Do you think that they hope to get a private parking space of their own or is it a two-car protest?”
Kirklees Council said workers they would be returning to finish the job next week.
