THOUSANDS of residents can have their say on Kirklees Council spending.

Chief executive Adrian Lythgo said: “We are sending surveys to 35,000 households selected at random to give a cross-section of views.

“We want to hear from residents about their thoughts on how we spend our budget.

“Working with partners such as NHS Kirklees we want to deliver the best services we can, but we also need to make tough financial choices and start to do things differently.”

Surveys must be returned by November 25.
