YOUNG people are being urged to get active this Easter with a range of free sports sessions.
They are being held as part of Kirklees Council’s Spring Buzz activities for boys and girls aged eight to13 years.
Youngsters can have a go at football, golf, athletics, rugby, cricket and netball on Monday and Tuesday April 18 and 19 at Almondbury Sports Centre, Fernside Avenue, Almondbury, from 10am to 3pm on both days.
Similar sessions are also being run at Boothroyd Junior School, Temple Road, Dewsbury, at 11am to 3pm daily from Monday, April 18 to Thursday, April 21.
There are two afternoons of cricket coaching at Hall Bower Cricket Club in Almondbury on Wednesday and Thursday April 20 and 21, from 1pm to 4pm.
