STAFF at Kirklees Active Leisure are raising awareness through their Water Safety campaign.
Sports centres and swimming pools in Kirklees will be providing customers with water safety advice from the ASA from this week.
They are also running a free ‘Get Safe’ campaign for both adults and children across all their swimming pools throughout July.
The sessions offer an opportunity for everyone to become safe in the water, including life saving skills (rookies), basic first aid and emergency planning around the water.
The courses, dates and times for the sessions will vary across centres and booking is advised.
