CHILDREN can clown around and get involved in crazy circus capers in this year’s Summer Reading Challenge.

The annual scheme organised by Kirklees Libraries and Information Centres aims to get youngsters aged between five and 12 to read at least six books during the summer holidays.

From Monday, July 25, to Thursday, August 25, there will be free circus themed activities in libraries and information centres across Kirklees.

From juggling to stilt walking there will be a full range of new things to try out during the summer.

Details are included in the Summer Buzz publication, via schools or online at www.kirkklees.gov.uk/buzz
