KIRKWOOD Hospice stages a fundraising It’s A Knockout event at the Dram Centre in Dalton this weekend.
Twenty teams take part in the event on Saturday. The fun begins at noon.
Other attractions will include children’s rides, stalls, hot-dogs and hamburgers.
The Dram Centre, at Ridgeway, re-opened in April for bookings by community groups and public organisations after debts forced is closure last October.
Kirklees Council has taken over as caretaker manager of the centre while options for its future management are considered.
Hospice spokeswoman Kate Leadbeater said the centre was the ideal venue for hospice events because of its location and on-site parking.
