Kitchen fire
A FIRE broke out at a house in Lindley. Fire crews were called to Thomas Street on Wednesday at 6.50pm, after a tea-towel caught alight on the hob in the kitchen. The fire was out by the time firefighters arrived but they used high pressure fans to expel smoke from the home.
