OFFICE workers have been sprucing up a Huddersfield estate.

Staff from Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing have created a new garden at the entrance to Holme Court flats in Berry Brow.

The volunteers spent two days planting flower, herbs and plants.

KNH senior estate management officer David Detraux said: “I found the experience inspiring.”

The newly-formed Two Towers Tenants’ and Residents’ Association would also like to create an allotment at the site.

Chairman Robin Taylor said: “Opening the new garden was a great day.

“Now I’m really keen to see our larger project get going as soon as possible.”
