KNIFE wielding robbers made off with £100 after threatening a taxi driver last night. The driver picked up two men in Forest Road, Dalton, just before 11pm. They were taken to Almondbury Bank where they held a knife to the driver and demanded money. After a struggle the money was handed over. The driver had minor facial injuries. The men were Afro-Caribbean and in their early 20s. Ring police on 01484 436735.
