A TEENAGER was threatened with a six-bladed knife when a robber struck in Huddersfield.

The 18-year-old victim escaped unhurt after a man waved the craft knife in front of him last night, at about 6.45pm.

The man had followed the youth from Brook Street, along Fitzwilliam Street and into Trinity Street.

He then asked the youth the time but when the victim looked at his mobile phone the man struck, pushing him down on the footpath and threatening him with the knife.

He fled with a rucksack containing the phone, cash and a wallet full of bank cards.

The attacker was black, aged about 23 or 24, with short hair and a “rough” face. He wore a dark green or black zipped jacket and khaki trousers.
