DUNCAN the Dragon is hard at work practising his bucket techniques – ready for It’s A Knockout.
The mascot will be joining hundreds of others in Dalton on Saturday hoping to raise thousands of pounds for Kirkwood Hospice.
He will be cheering on the 24 teams taking part in the Its A Knockout contest at Standiforth playing fields off Grosvenor Road, part of the annual Hospice Summer Fair.
Organiser Kate Leadbeater said: “It promises to be a great day for the whole family.
“The Summer Fair has all the usual attractions, with stalls, games, a barbecue and refreshments, but in a new venue this time.
”And we are doubling up with the Its A Knockout when all the teams will be taking part in some great games”.
The event gets under way at 12noon and runs until 4.30pm.
