HUDDERSFIELD'S feathered friend from Down Under has been on his travels again.
A kookaburra, first sighted in Fenay Bridge last year, has again been seen in the town.
This time the bird, a native of Australia, has been seen in Lockwood several times.
Mr Ian Corcoran, of Hanson Lane, said: "It arrived in my garden on Thursday morning and scared the birds, including my doves. It was there for a while".
And Chris Squires said: "I saw a kookaburra several times in the trees between the bowling green and the dam at Lockwood Park sports ground."
Previous sightings have been at Lepton, Skelmanthorpe and Hade Edge.
