A HUDDERSFIELD soldier will lead the largest military graduation parade in the country in Harrogate tomorrow.

Junior Regimental Sgt-Maj James Taylor, 17, will give the commands and escort the reviewing office.

He is the top student at the Army Foundation College.

More than 700 junior soldiers will march on the parade ground at Uniacke Barracks, in front of thousands of relatives and friends.

The famous Red Devils parachute team will drop in on the parade as one of the highlights.

All the students joined the college last September.

All have undergone a 12-month course combining military skills and vocational qualifications.

They will now receive specialist training with either the infantry, Royal Artillery or Royal Armoured Corps.
