Scam arrest
A HUDDERSFIELD man has been arrested in connection with a leaflet scam that hit people across Cumbria. They were offered electrical goods by a company who put leaflets through doors. But after money was given to a follow-up salesman no goods appeared. The man, aged 37, was arrested in Kendal on suspicion of deception on the town’s Hallgarth estate.
