POLICE have arrested a mother who vanished after she was charged over the death of her daughter.
Sharon Wright, 22, has been charged with causing or allowing the death of four-year-old Leticia Aalayah Wright.
She was arrested and remanded into custody yesterday.
She had been due to appear at Bradford Crown Court last Friday, but failed to turn up. Her barrister said Wright had absconded from a bail hostel.
Judge Roger Scott, sitting at the Bradford court yesterday, adjourned the case until later today so that it can be dealt with by the Recorder of Bradford, Judge Stephen Gullick.
Wright, of Almondbury Bank, Moldgreen, had absconded from the hostel, about three weeks ago.
Peter McKenzie-Seaton, 21, of Northallerton, North Yorkshire, has also been charged with allowing or causing Leticia's death.
