CAMPAIGNERS are hoping for decent weather tomorrow when they stage a protest against a kite- flying ban at Castle Hill.
Organiser Mick Madden, of Honley, appealed for people to join him at noon.
Kites will be flown in defiance of Kirklees Council's warnings that it is unsafe.
Mr Madden said: "It's stupid."
The council claims kite-flying is unsafe because of power cables close to the hill.
But kite-flyers say they have carried on the practice for years without mishap.
