Welcome to the Examiner's breaking news blog for A Level results day 2016.

Greenhead top in Yorkshire for results

Greenhead College has topped the Yorkshire leaderboard with its A level results.

The sixth form have a 99 per cent pass rate with 62 of students’ grades an A*-B.

Greenhead College AS Results

Here are the AS results for Greenhead College.

Nikita Wood is celebrating her A*AA results and on gaining a place at Liverpool University to study Veterinary Science. Nikita, from Moor End Academy, coped admirably (and always with a smile) with her A Level studies, along with 2 jobs, one milking at a local farm and the other at a local veterinary practice.
