SHEPLEY residents are being offered the chance to find out more about a new community facility.

St Paul's Church will be hosting two sessions focusing on the new Library and Information Centre which is due to open in June in the council Offices in Marsh Lane.

The sessions, which are aimed at answering any questions people may have about the new centre, will be held on Thursday April 20 between 2 and 7pm and on Saturday April 22 between 10am to noon.

Area manager Kathryn Harrison said: "These open house sessions are an ideal way for people who will be using the Shepley Library and Information Centre to find out what type of service we can offer them.

"Residents have been very patient while the library has been closed for refurbishment.

"We are very excited about re-opening and inviting people in to see just how much things have improved."
