PROUD children stand with the items their money has bought for disaster victims.

Life-saving aid is being delivered, thanks to the efforts of pupils at Lindley Junior School.

They each did a chore at home for £1 and brought in a signed certificate to prove it.

An impressive £500 was raised for the ShelterBox appeal.

The appeal's headquarters in Cornwall deliver ShelterBoxes, which contain special kits containing tents, blankets, water purification tablets and cooking equipment, to disaster zones.

Hazel Metcalfe, of ShelterBox, is also pictured with the pupils.
