MARSDEN poet SImon Armitage features in two new films aimed at promoting National Trust properties in West Yorkshire.

Holmfirth-based brand design agency Lightbulb has unveiled the films for the Marsden Moor Estate and Hardcastle Crags.

The films will be used to promote the two properties, but also to gain support for the Yorkshire Moors and Dales appeal which aims to raise funds to conserve the trust’s Yorkshire countryside properties of Marsden Moor, Hardcastle Crags, the Yorkshire Dales, North York Moors and Brimham Rocks.

Lightbulb creative director, David Henzell said: “Producing such a high profile piece of work has been exhilarating and, as trust members, helping to promote a cause that is close to our hearts, is truly rewarding.”

Property manager for the Marsden Moor Estate Judith Patrick said: “We were very keen to look at new media approaches to promoting the properties and the trust’s work and the appeal.

The films can be viewed at: www.lightbulb-moment.com/nationaltrust/ and will soon be featured on the National Trust website.
