Vital research

A HOSPITAL celebrated an event to raise awareness of the importance of research into healthcare. Monday (May 20) marked International Clinical Trials Day. The date recognises the trial which began in 1747 by James Lind into the prevention of scurvy. The Oncology and Haematology Research Department at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary took part. It was one of a number of departments to organise a display in the main entrance to the Lindley hospital. The displays aimed to highlight the work of the different departments.
