CHILDREN and staff at Little Angels nursery have been celebrating a perfect performance.
The Lowerhouses kindergarten was rated ‘outstanding’ in every category in its latest inspection by Ofsted, the government watchdog for education and child care.
Little Angels, which looks after 165 children aged 0-11, was praised by Ofsted inspector Julie Kelly as ‘inclusive, exciting and stimulating’.
In her report following her visit in March, Ms Kelly said: “Children thrive and flourish in this inclusive, exciting and stimulating setting because staff focus their attention upon their unique and individual needs.
“Staff are highly effective in ensuring that children’s progress throughout the Early Years Foundation Stage is consistently good.”
Little Angels manager Leanne Sarsfield said: “We were absolutely ecstatic to receive the report. It’s well deserved recognition of the hard work we’ve all put in. It’s a great achievement”.
