THE detective leading the investigation into an armed bank robbery in Huddersfield has admitted he is struggling to make a breakthrough.
Detective Sergeant Keith Skarz is in charge of the search for two men who threatened staff in Lloyds TSB on Westgate before getting away with thousands of pounds.
He said: “It was obviously a very professional job. There’s nothing coming up at the moment.”
The robbers, armed with a gun and a knife and wearing black masks, walked into the bank at about 5pm on Thursday, November 5.
They took a large amount of cash before getting away in a silver Vauxhall Vectra towards Trinity Street.
Det Sgt Skarz said: “We haven’t even got any information on the vehicle.”
Anyone with information should call Huddersfield CID on 01484 436685 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
