A LOCKWOOD man is due in court after admitting drink-driving.

Richard Belafonte, of Horse Bank Drive, is due before Kirklees magistrates on February 20.

He pleaded guilty to the offence, which happened on November 23 at Longwood Gate in Longwood.

The 32-year-old drove with 74 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

The legal limit is 35mg.

Belafonte also admitted charges of driving without a licence or insurance.

The case was adjourned to enable him to put forward a special reasons argument.

Unconditional bail was granted.
