A LOCKWOOD man appeared in court charged with disorderly conduct.

Denton Duhaney, of North Street, was before Huddersfield magistrates yesterday.

He was arrested by police after he became upset when they arrested his girlfriend following an incident.

Linda Fowler, prosecuting, said that this happened at North Street on December 23.

She said that Duhaney, 40, shouted at police: ‘Take your f*****g hands off’ and raised a glass of drink above his head.

Mrs Fowler said that he then threw the beer over the officer.

He then had to be restrained while the glass was removed from him.

Duhaney was given a conditional discharge for 12 months.
