THE man accused of murdering a Huddersfield teenager will go on trial next year.

Christopher Hill, 40, is charged with killing 18-year-old Robert Broadbent earlier this month.

Robert's body was discovered in the Fitness First car park, Lockwood Park, in the early hours of Sunday, October 7. He had been stabbed.

Hill, of Highroyd, Lepton, made his first appearance before a judge at Bradford Crown Court this morning.

The Honorary Recorder of Bradford Judge Stephen Gullick told Hill the next hearing at the crown court would be on January 21.

His trial, which could last up to 10 days, will start on March 5.

Hill was remanded in custody after the brief preliminary hearing.
