A WOMAN has appeared in court on assault charges.

She faces four charges of assault from September 23. On that date the 31-year-old is accused of assaulting Ifhkahr Ali by beating him.

She was then arrested and taken to Dewsbury police station where she is alleged to have attacked staff members Angela Wright and Dawn Pickering.
