CHARITY Children Today is looking for keen Huddersfield cyclists to join their London to Paris Bike Rides.

A number of dates have been organised to raise money for disabled children in the UK.

The riders will start in London and cycle through Kent to Dover and the cross channel ferry to Calais.

From Calais the ride passes through beautiful French countryside and market towns before the final day of cycling.

This is the big push to Paris and the finishing line at the Eiffel Tower.

Ceri Ward, of Children Today, said: “There are over 390,000 disabled people under the age of 16 in the UK.

By taking part in this challenge, the sponsorship monies raised will enable Children Today to purchase vitally important life-enhancing equipment.

“It will make a real difference to a disabled child’s life, and the cyclists will have been part of a once in a lifetime trip.”

Participants must raise minimum sponsorship of £1,350, plus a registration fee of £99.

Anyone aged 18 years or over interested in taking part should contact Ceri Ward on 01244 335622 or
