A pensioner appeared in court accused of threatening a group of youths with a knife.
Kevin Logan, 65, of Longwood Road in Longwood, was before Kirklees magistrates yesterday to deny charges of assault, possessing an offensive weapon in public and threatening behaviour.
The alleged incident was at Huddersfield Bus Station on July 30.
Logan, in an argument with the youths, is alleged to have hit one of them with his walking stick and to have made stabbing motions at the youths with a lock knife in his hand.
His trial will take place at Leeds Crown Court, where he will first appear on October 9.
