A DEDICATED member of the Sea Cadet Corps has passed away.
Lieutenant Commander Reginald Horner received the MBE for voluntary service to the Sea Cadet Corps in Huddersfield from The Queen in 2009.
He was born in Marsh and joined the Huddersfield Sea Cadets in 1949. He served with the Navy for 14 years before joining the Navy Reserves until he retired in 1988.
His funeral will take place on Tuesday, February 8.
