A man was found guilty at lunchtime today of murdering a teenager in Marsden.

Luke Elliott, of Cowlersley, was convicted of the murder of 19-year-old Craig Hepburn last summer.

The Scottish teenager was stabbed to death in Marsden while visiting relatives.

A second defendant, Anthony Driver, of Marsden, was convicted of manslaughter.

Elliott was sentenced to life for the murder of Mr Hepburn with a judge's recommendation that he serve  at least 22 years.

He was also given a 13-year concurrent sentence for the attempted murder of Conor Patton.

Driver was jailed for 13 years for the attempted murder of Mr Hepburn. Full story in tomorrow's Examiner.
