COMMUTERS and shoppers are being advised to plan ahead as work will close a busy road junction.
Junction 29 of the M1 will require daytime and full weekend closures of the exit slip roads over the next three weekends.
This weekend’s work will affect the northbound exit slip road and it will be shut between 7am and 6pm today and again between 7am and 6pm tomorrow.
The northbound exit slip road will shut again for the whole of the next weekend between 8pm on Friday, January 20, and 6am on Monday January 23.
A third weekend of work will require the closure of the southbound exit slip road between 8pm on January 27 and 3.30pm on January 28.
Diversions will be in place along the motorway carriageway.
