THE M62 has now reopened following a crash which completely closed the westbound carriageway.
All three lanes heading towards Manchester were closed between Junction 25 Brighouse and Junction 24 Ainley Top after the incident at 9.18am.

A Black Mercedes A160 and a Light Goods Vehicle were involved
A women in her forties from the Mercedes was trapped and suffered serious leg injuries
The LGV was able to move to the hardshoulder
The road reopened at 11:04.
The Highways Agency are still at the scene.
Traffic queues stretched back to Junction 27 Gildersome as thousands of motorists sat in their vehicles on the motorway at the height of the closure.
