DRIVERS using the M62 near Huddersfield have been warned to expect delays.
And there will be major hold-ups for thousands of motorists from December 7.
This weekend, engineers are working from Junction 25 (Brighouse) to Junction 28 (Tingley), south of Leeds.
Slight delays are expected due to lighting column works. There will be hard shoulder and overnight lane one closures in both directions until next week.
Drivers using the stretch from Junction 22 (Rishworth Moor) to Junction 23 (Outlane), west of Huddersfield, will also face delays due to central reserve barrier works. There will be two lanes closed in both directions between 8pm and 6am until January 16.
The major works get under way on December 7 from Junction 25 (Brighouse) to Junction 28 (Tingley). The Highways Agency are replacing the central reservation and a 50mph speed limit will be in place 24 hours a day up until March 2010.
