Firefighters are tackling a major blaze at a flats complex in Dewsbury.
Four fire engines and an aerial appliance are at the scene in Ashworth Close in Eightlands.
Crews from Dewsbury, Batley, Mirfield and Wakefield were called to reports of a fire at 4.39pm.
It is not believed anyone has been hurt. Neighbouring homes have been evacuated.
An eyewitness said at least six flats had been damaged by fire and flames had ripped through the roof.
Firefighters remain at the scene, said a brigade spokesman.
