POLICE have charged a teenager with murder after a youngster died from a stab wound.
Jovan Bethune, 18 - whose father, 36-year-old Paul Stewart lives in Huddersfield - died in hospital after an incident at a funfair in Hillsborough, Sheffield, on Friday, March 4.
An 18-year-old Sheffield man, Shakeel Mohammed, of Coupe Road, Pitsmoor, has been charged with murder.
He appeared before Sheffield magistrates on Saturday and was remanded in custody.
Several other people have been questioned by police and released on bail pending further inquiries.
Jovan lived in Sheffield.
Mr Stewart is well-known in Huddersfield for his youth community work, including holding DJ-ing workshops for youngsters.
