POLICE have appealed for witnesses after a man was badly hurt in a road accident.
The 63-year-old pedestrian was injured when he was in a collision with a red Fiat Brava on Westgate in Heckmondwike at its junction with Market Street at 5.15pm yesterday.
The man from Liversedge was taken to Dewsbury District Hospital where he is in a stable condition .
