A man died after a car smash in Southowram on Saturday.
The 81-year-old man, who has not been named, was driving a blue Nissan Note which was in collision with a black Range Rover Sport in Brookfoot Lane.
It is believed the Nissan was pulling out of a driveway when the collision happened at 8.35am.
It is thought the driver may have collapsed at the wheel and investigations are underway.
Fire crews from Brighouse and Elland attended the scene along with West Yorkshire Police. The road was closed for around five hours.
A post-mortem examination was to be carried out to determine how the man died.
