POLICE have arrested a man on suspicion of attempted murder after a shooting in Huddersfield last month.

The 23-year-old from Chapeltown in Leeds was picked up by police in the city.

The incident was sparked when a 22-year-old man went to hospital with gunshot wounds on March 28. It is thought the shooting happened just after 8pm that evening near Earnshaw's Motorcycles on Manchester Road at Longroyd Bridge.

The man has been bailed.
