A MAN remains seriously ill in hospital after allegedly being attacked.
The 51-year-old man suffered serious head injuries in the incident close to The Commercial pub on Carr Lane in Slaithwaite at 11.45pm on Friday, February 8.
He is in Leeds General Infirmary and is described as “poorly”. Two 16-year-olds arrested in connection with the incident have been released on bail pending further inquiries.
