POLICE are investigating an alleged kidnapped in Bradford Road, Fartown, on Tuesday afternoon.
Police are now examining CCTV footage to try to find out more about the incident which happened around 4.30pm.
A 29-year-old Heckmondwike man was talking to an Asian acquaintance in Bradford Road when he was bundled into a silver Audi A4 car.
He was driven around Huddersfield in the car for around an hour and let free, uninjured.
Anyone who saw the two men talking before the car left the area, or who saw the car as it travelled around Huddersfield is asked to contact Det Con Richard Ford on 01484 436776.
