A man has been charged with drug dealing after a major police operation in Huddersfield.
Mohammed Akram, 38, of Manchester Road, Thornton Lodge, is accused of possession of class A drugs and possession with intent to supply.
Akram appeared before Kirklees magistrates in Huddersfield this morning and was remanded in custody.
Six people were arrested after an operation in Thornton Lodge by a specialist team from Kirklees CID.
Another two men and a woman were arrested on suspicion of supplying drugs and two men were held for possession. All five have been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
Around 20 police officers were involved in the raids.
