A MAN has today been charged with causing the death of a Huddersfield road traffic police officer.
Pc Mark Goodlad was tragically killed in a road traffic collision on the M1 near Wakefield on October 24 last year.
Now a 45-year-old man from the Oldham area has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
He has been bailed to appear at Wakefield Magistrates at a later date.
Pc Goodlad was a father of one to son Ben, a pupil at Castle Hall School in Mirfield.
