A MAN has appeared in court accused of stealing over £100 worth of computer games.

Kendall McGuire, of Back Stanley Street in Lockwood, was before Kirklees magistrates yesterday.

He denies stealing £158 worth of goods from Sainsbury’s in Huddersfield. The alleged theft took place on December 23.

McGuire is said to have taken six computer games and concealed them in a shoulder bag before leaving the store.

The 20-year-old claims he acted under duress as he was being threatened by another man.

He faces trial at the magistrates’ court on March 12. He was granted McGuire unconditional bail until that date.
