A MAN has appeared in court after attacking a man as he carried out his community service.
Junior Mvuzi, of Holme Park Court in Berry Brow, was before Kirklees magistrates yesterday.
He admits assaulting Keith Little on November 8.
Magistrates were told that Mvuzi was convicted for two assaults on September 24.
The 27-year-old was ordered to carry out unpaid work as part of his punishment.
But he assaulted one of the men he was working with.
This attack also put Mvuzi in breach of his community order as his behaviour was unacceptable during the session.
Mark Brookes, for Mvuzi, said that his client needed to see a psychiatrist before he could be sentenced.
Magistrates adjourned the case until January 25.
Mvuzi was banned from contacting Mr Little as part of his bail conditions.
