A MAN threatened staff at a service designed to help drug users.
Sammy Askew, 36, was made subject to a drugs rehabilitation requirement in November.
Kirklees magistrates made the order for various offences, including breaching his Asbo, two thefts and failing to surrender to court.
However Askew, of Lonsbrough Flats, was arrested after breaching the terms of the order.
He did this by failing to behave in an acceptable manner at the office of Lifeline Kirklees.
Magistrates were told that Askew attended without an appointment and asked for his prescription.
When he was told that this was not possible, he became abusive, threw open a door and shouted threatening abuse at a receptionist.
Ian Whiteley, mitigating, said that his client struggled with his memory and so found it difficult to remember appointment dates.
Magistrates revoked Askew’s existing order and sentenced him to another six months of drug treatment.
He was ordered to sign a behaviour contract to enable the drugs team to continue to working with him.
