A MAN accused of a string of child sex offences has appeared in court.

Jon Fosker, 31, was before Kirklees Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

He faces 16 charges of making an indecent image of a child.

The alleged offences took place at a Huddersfield address on or before June 20, 2011.

Fosker, of Waveney Gardens in South Stanley, County Durham, is also charged with inciting a girl aged 13 to engage in sexual activity.

He allegedly did this by getting her to photograph herself naked.

It was determined at a previous hearing that Fosker’s case will be heard at Leeds Crown Court.

District Judge Marie Mallon allowed the case to be adjourned for a further two weeks so that all the necessary paperwork can be served on the defence. The case was adjourned until December 13 to be committed to crown court.

His bail conditions include residence and non contact with named prosecution witnesses. Fosker was also banned from having unsupervised contact with a person under 16.

Finally, he was told that he must not use the internet, except for work, study or seeking employment.
