A 28-YEAR-OLD Fartown man is accused of stealing more than £18,600 from a teenage relative.

Gregory Dunstan is alleged to have stolen £18,697.50 from the trust fund held in his young sister’s name.

It is said that between February 17, 2006, and August 20, 2008, Dunstan withdrew money from an account in which he was named a trustee of.

Dunstan, formerly of Ball Royd Road but currently of no fixed abode, appeared before Huddersfield Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday charged with the offence.

He indicated a not guilty plea to the charge and the case against him was adjourned until October 1.
